THE AUTHOR

Rodger Minatra, a native of West Texas, grew up in New Mexico and Arizona. After graduating from high school and taking community college vocational courses, he worked in agriculture and various construction jobs. Later, he served in the U.S Air Force for almost ten years, earning a bachelor’s and master’s degree. He earned his doctoral degree in Applied Technology/Training and Development from the University of North Texas. He has provided training for business and industry and has taught at the community college and university level for more than forty years. He and his wife have been married almost fifty years and have two married daughters and five grandchildren. They live in southern Illinois.
